We Are…

The Florence McDonnell Center, a private nonprofit organization, composed of an ecumenical group of therapists, both lay and clergy, from a variety of disciplines. These men and women are experienced in providing for the growth and development of the human psyche and committed to the restoration of wholeness to the wounded among us. We are particularly committed to families and have programs to serve the special needs of clergy and their families.

Our Approach…

We offer a comprehensive, integrated, and holistic orientation. Our mission is to blend theological and psychological disciplines so that the most balanced and discerning person can emerge. We are influenced by the model established by the great 20th century psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung. We see symptoms as a call to spiritual, psychological, and personal growth. Combining these strengths with the most advanced current knowledge in the neurochemical and biological sciences, we are able to evaluate, treat, and respond to virtually every kind of mental and spiritual condition.
